I created this FB cover image to describe the two sides to me. I am still doing brand and product research and strategy consulting. And now, more than ever, I’m exploring my creative side. I promised myself that someday I would get back to my artistic roots. I was a fine artist before getting involved with digital and had two dozen showings. But the world of digital intrigued me from 1986 to the present. Digital in all forms still entices me to be creative.
Surface design creativity is about my work on physical 3D products. Soon, I’ll reveal the designs I’m working on for clothing, scarfs, handbags, purses, dishes, and glasses. The world of NFT (nonfungible tokens) art is fascinating. It reminds me of the early days of digital and the web. I’m finishing up my first NFT MP4, an abridged movie with music based on my Flower Opera book. The Flower Opera NFT is my first collaboration with an AI. I am also transforming The Other Side of the Box (my first creative book) into NFT art.
Laundrygate, Future Humans, Animals, and Machines, the second volume of science fiction stories, is coming along nicely. Although, those madcap characters are keeping me on my feet. I’m having way too much fun with AI robotic lawnmowers. I think I finally found a place for my style of writing in the Solarpunk genre. Solorpunk is a movement focused on a positive, ecological vision for a future where technology is used for human-centric and ecocentric purposes.
